The Honourable Hugh Hilton Todd, Minister of Foreign Affairs earlier today presented Exequatur to Mr. Looknauth Persaud confirming his appointment as Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of Morocco to the Cooperative Republic of Guyana.

Minister Todd offered congratulations to the newly appointed Honorary Consul and committed to working towards enhancing cooperation in areas including agriculture and education.

Guyana and Morocco established diplomatic relations on December 14, 2012.
