President Ali and US House of Representatives’ Democratic Leader Jeffries exchanged pleasantries during the final day of the 45th CARICOM Heads of Government meeting.

The event took place on Wednesday afternoon at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Port of Spain, Trinidad. The two leaders discussed a range of issues, including the importance of cooperation between the Caribbean and the United States.

President Ali also met with US Congressman Gregory Meeks, who was also a part of the US delegation at the event.
