His Excellency President Dr Irfaan Ali received the Letters of Credence from the Non-Resident Ambassador of the Kingdom of Belgium to Guyana, Her Excellency Helen De Geest, at the Office of the President at Shiv Chanderpaul Drive this morning.

Discussions focused on deepening bilateral relations between the two countries.

Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Honourable Hugh Todd and Permanent Secretary, Mrs Elisabeth Harper, were also part of the meeting.
