The Honourable Hugh Hilton Todd, Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation earlier today met with Her Excellency Karen Tan, Ambassador of the Republic of Singapore to CARICOM.

Minister Todd and Ambassador Tan discussed several areas of mutual interest towards advancing the cooperation agenda between Guyana and Singapore at the bilateral, regional and multilateral levels.

Ambassador Tan’s visit will serve to advance the collaborative agenda between Guyana and Singapore through continued engagement between the two Foreign Ministries.

Guyana and Singapore established bilateral relations on September 19, 2002, and have collaborated at the multilateral level through the Commomwealth and NAM.
